1. What are cookies?

- Advertising cookies: Allow the management, as efficiently as possible, of the advertising spaces included by the editor on a website, application, or platform.
- Behavioral advertising cookies: Collect information about the user’s preferences and personal choices to allow the management, as efficiently as possible, of the advertising spaces.
- Social cookies: Set by social media platforms to allow content sharing with friends and networks.
- Affiliate cookies: Enable tracking of visits from other websites with which the site has an affiliation contract.
- Security cookies: Store encrypted information to prevent data stored in them from being vulnerable to malicious attacks by third parties.
3.2. By Ownership
- Own cookies: Sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain managed by the editor and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
- Third-party cookies: Sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a device or domain not managed by the editor, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through cookies.
3.3. By Storage Duration
- Session cookies: Collect and store data while the user accesses the website.
- Persistent cookies: Store data that can be accessed and processed for a defined period by the responsible party, which can range from minutes to several years.
- Media player cookies: Enable audio or video playback on a website.
4. Cookies Used on This Website
- PHPSESSID: Technical cookie strictly necessary that contains the session identifier. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _lang: Technical cookie strictly necessary that contains the session language. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- ac_cookies: Technical cookie strictly necessary that contains the value of whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. Expires 1 year after the last update.
- _ga: Google Analytics cookie that enables the function of control of unique visits. The first time a user enters the website through a browser, this cookie will be installed. When this user re-enters the web with the same browser, the cookie will consider it to be the same user. Only if the user changes browsers will it be considered a different user. Expires 2 years after the last update.
- _gat: Associated with Google Analytics Universal. Used to limit the request rate – limiting the collection of data on high-traffic sites. Expires 10 minutes after the last update.
- _utma: Google Analytics cookie that records the date of the first and last time the user visited the website. Expires 2 years after the last update.
- _utmb: Google Analytics cookie that records the arrival time to the website. Expires 30 minutes after the last update.
- _utmc: Google Analytics cookie used for interoperability with the urchin.js tracking code. It is deleted when the browser is closed.
- _utmt: Google Analytics cookie used to process the type of request made by the user. Expires at the end of the session.
- _utmv: Google Analytics cookie used to segment demographic data. Expires at the end of the session.
- _utmz: Google Analytics cookie that stores the traffic source or campaign to explain how the user reached the website. Expires 6 months after the last update.
5. How to Delete Cookies from the Browser
Chrome
- Select the Tools icon
- Click on Settings
- Click on Show Advanced Options
- In the “Privacy” section, click on Content Settings
- To delete cookies: Click on All cookies and site data…
- Do not allow cookies to be stored.
- Click on Clear browsing data (empty the Cache).
- Close and restart the browser.

- Select Tools | Internet Options
- Click on the General tab
- In the “Browsing History” section, click on Delete browsing history on exit
- Select Delete files
- Select Delete cookies
- Click on Delete
- Click on OK
- Close and restart the browser.

- Select Firefox | History | Clear recent history
- Next to “Details,” click the down arrow
- Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Cache, Active Logins
- Using the “Time range to clear” drop-down menu, select All
- Click Clear Now
- Close and restart the browser.
- You can accept or reject cookies individually in Firefox Preferences, in the History section available in Tools > Options > Privacy.
